Advertised Rates
Rates are per person per night and include breakfast and VAT at 17.5% unless otherwise stated. A supplement applies for single occupancy of a double room. Additional persons sharing a room are charged extra. Infants under 2 stay FREE. High season is from May 1st to September 30th inclusive. Low season prices apply at all other times except on bank holiday weekends, between Christmas and New Year, at Easter and during local and national events. Please call to confirm rates. Online booking rates are adjusted accordingly.
Reservations
Reservations may be confirmed with a valid Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or American Express number (not Diners Club), expiry date, (‘valid from’ date and / or issue number if appropriate) and security code. We reserve the right to charge up to the equivalent of your first night’s accommodation cost as a non-refundable deposit.
Payment Terms
FULL PAYMENT IS DUE ON DEPARTURE from the hotel.
Discounted rates are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. The Liddesdale Hotel accept payment by Visa, (including Delta and Electron) Mastercard, Maestro, American Express and Cash (GBP). We do not accept Diners Club.
All rates quoted are subject to availability and inclusive of VAT at 17.5% unless otherwise stated. Rates quoted cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion. Supplements will be applied automatically for single and family room occupancy, or if you upgrade to a suite.
Cancellations Policy
All deposits paid are non-transferable or non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. If a reservation is cancelled, the first night’s accommodation will be charged regardless of how long in advance the reservation is cancelled. For cancellations less than 28 days prior to the due start date, 50% of the accommodation originally booked will be charged and if the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the due date of arrival 100% will be charged. We recommend you consider taking out suitable travel insurance, if necessary.
Families with Children
Children aged 3 or under stay free when sharing with two adults; a single supplement applies when only one adult is in the room. Upgrade charges apply for larger rooms. All children's meals must be paid for. A family room could include a foldaway bed or a cot but please ensure you let us know your requirements at the time of booking to ensure such items are available. Christmas and New Year breaks are subject to different terms and conditions.
Special Requests
The Liddesdale Hotel’s new online booking system allows you to ask for special requests. Whilst every effort will be made to carry out your wishes, unfortunately the Liddesdale Hotel cannot always guarantee to satisfy your requests (e.g. champagne, chocolate and flowers).
Check-in and Check-out times
Guest rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. We ask you to check out by 11am on the day of departure, although late check-out is available on selected offers and promotions.
Inclusive Meals
Any dinner inclusive breaks include a three-course table d’hote menu. Breakfast inclusive breaks include a full cooked breakfast with a selection of hot and cold foods including healthy vegetarian options.
Dogs and Other Pets
Dogs (other than guide and hearing dogs) and other pets are not permitted in guest rooms or dining areas.
Liability
We shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of any delay or failure in performing our obligations under the contract which are the result of any circumstances beyond our control.
We accept no liability for theft of, or from, or damage to vehicles parked on our premises.
Nothing in these Terms attempts, or is to be deemed to be an attempt, to exclude or limit our liability for the death or personal injury of any person caused by our negligence or that of our employees or agents or to otherwise attempt to exclude or limit our liability otherwise than as permitted by law.
Except where we are liable for damage or loss, you will indemnify us and keep us indemnified from and against any and all liability, claims, proceedings, damages, costs or expenses that we incur in connection with your booking.
